I’m Kasra, a mechanical engineer, a roboticist, and an adventurer.

My research background is in the development of collaborative-motion strategies for robotic swarms that have short range sensors and are operating in GPS-denied environments. I also have expertise in developing embedded robotic systems, and have multiple years of experience in bringing advanced robotic and sensing technologies to the processed food industry.

During the day, I like to think about the world’s most complex problems that can be solved through advanced robotics. At night, I dream about the mountains I want to climb, the lakes I want to paddle, and the books I want to read.
